5/16/2010   Reminder -- Swim Team Meeting on 5/19
Reminder - there is a Swim Team Meeting Wednesday May 19 at the pool beginning at 6:30 PM.  From 6:30 - 7:00 you will have the opportunity to try-on and purchase your swim suit, order spirit wear, meet the team reps and coaches and register your swimmer.  The informational meeting to discuss the upcoming season will begin at 7:00 PM.  WE URGE ALL PARENTS TO ATTEND THIS MEETING TO FIND OUT WHAT IT MEANS TO SWITCH TO A CARDLESS MEET SYSTEM!

If you cannot attend the meeting please be sure to register your swimmer by Memorial Day weekend.  SWIMMERS CANNOT PRACTICE until we have received a registration form.  The registration form is posted on the website.  If you are new to swim team this season and are unsure if your swimmer truly wants to participate, we offer a one-week trial period.  If at the end of the first week your swimmer does not wish to continue we will return your check.

We are looking forward to another fun season and hope to see everyone on Wednesday night!

4/28/2010   2010 Swim Team Information
We are revving up for another fun swim season with the Bradley Farm Wave and are pleased to announce our coaching staff will consist of Head Coach Dylan Evans, Assistant Coaches Lexie Smyre, Erin Degutis, Mackenzie Peterson, and Jr. Coach Sean McCrone.

There will be a PARENT MEETING on WED. MAY 19 at 6:30 PM at the pool - Cassels will be there with our new suits and spirit wear, you will meet the coaches and we will be discussing changes for the upcoming season.  WE ENCOURAGE ALL PARENTS TO ATTEND THIS MEETING - NEW THIS YEAR - WE ARE TRANSITIONING TO A CARDLESS MEET SYSTEM - so - please come and learn what this means for you and your swimmers.

CONCESSION VOLUNTEER NEEDED.  Becky Cruley who did a fantastic job last year will not be able to continue in this role this season.  So, WE NEED A VOLUNTEER!  The responsibilities of the concession manager are:  1)  to stock the concession stand for each of the 4 home meets and Time Trials 2)  work the concession stand during the home meets 3)  attend a Fairfax County Health Dept Food Safety class - (90 minutes long).  In exchange for volunteering for this position - we will give the concession manager a PASS for all away meets - meaning you don't have to work at any away meets.  So - please consider helping out the team. The concession stand raises money for the team without which we would not be able to offer some of the fun social events and pay our coaches.  This job can be shared if two or more people want to take it on.  Please let us know!

We are now accepting registrations for the upcoming season - please see the registration form in the documents section of the site or at the following link.  Please register PRIOR to the start of the season.

If you have any questions, please feel free to contact any one of us- we look forward to serving as your reps again this summer!
